New Characters

Introducing Cartethyia – 5★, a new Resonator with the Aero element who specializes in close-range combat. She features Aero Erosion and damage amplification buffs. Coming in the next banner is Lupa – 5★, a Gladiator with powerful AoE bursts and buffs for the entire team. Look forward to their arrival in patch 2.4.

New Area/Region: Septimont

Septimont, the grand city-state long hidden from the outside world, has finally opened its gates. The Rover, searching for Cartethyia who suddenly vanished due to the effects of Sentinel’s power, has found clues to her location through shared memories—and that place is Septimont.

New Weapon Series

Defier’s Thorn (Sword) – Cartethyia’s signature weapon; focuses on HP%, DEF shred, and bonus damage when the target is affected by Aero Erosion.

Wildfire Mark (Broadblade) – Lupa’s main weapon; optimized for Fusion burst and buff synergy.

Quality of Life

Major improvements to the Quality of Life system, including performance optimizations for mobile devices and up to 40% faster loading times. Additionally, enhanced stability and reduced memory usage offer a smoother gameplay experience across a wide range of devices.

New Skin

Wuthering Waves releases new summer-themed skins for Changli and Carlotta in update 2.4. The skins feature new swimsuits for both characters. The update will also feature a birthday event with a “Clothing Voucher” reward, allowing players to purchase the skins at a discounted price.

New Sonata Effects

In the Wuthering Waves 2.4 update, two new Sonata Effects will be introduced: Windward Pilgrimage (Aero DMG focus) and Flaming Clawprint (Fusion DMG focus). These Sonata Effects provide set bonuses to increase certain damage types when certain conditions are met.
